Our Story
How it all began...

2021 was a stressful year.
I had a LOT of pent up emotions that I had no release for. I have always been able to go for a drive and scream until my heart felt less heavy... but even that wasn't working. One night, I went for a drive and I couldn't even attempt to scream, I needed a physical release.
I went home, did my best to sleep, and the next morning I went to every thrift shop in town and bought everything I could think of to create a private "rage room" in my shop. As I was shopping, I told a few people what I was doing and EVERY person I spoke to said the same thing,
"We need something like that in the valley".
The last few years have been stressful for everyone. As I made my plans to create a rage room, I talked to everyone about it. The response was amazing! Many also mentioned the need for other forms of entertainment, the biggest request was to bring axe throwing to the area as well.
I made contact with Sami, and she asked if she could join me in this adventure.
Between the two of us, we collaborated for a full year to create our party business.
We are starting with Axe Throwing and Smash Room, but already have plans to expand to something so much bigger and better.
My hope is to provide an outlet for our area, to relax and enjoy just a few small things in life.
We are in this together.
The 'Rona and politics have created a world of uncertainty and divide, so many people are stressed out from
working too many hours, losing their jobs, kids going back and forth between remote and in person schooling...
no one is doing "fine" in this current state of our world.
We've come together to create a safe space, to do what we've all been wanting to do for so long. We are here for you!

2021 was such a tough year. For everyone.
I received a call one afternoon from a friend interested in starting a new endeavor. She told me about her vision of starting an Axe Throwing and Smash Room company, and asked for my help in locating a building to accomodate her new business. I was immediately intrigued.
Funny enough, I had my own dreams of creating an Axe Throwing company. I had mentioned it to a few close people years ago. Life got in the way, I was not in a position at that time to do it on my own. I vowed that I would one day pursue this dream of mine... one day.
The following day, I woke up with Axe Throwing and Smash Rooms on the brain! My wheels were spinning and I knew I had to be more involved. I asked Elle if she would like some help, I would love to partner with her on her endeavor.
She was thrilled.
The collaboration began! For a full year we worked side by side designing our Axe Throwing trailer, business plan and structure, collecting sponsors and building what you know today as REL-AXE N' SMASH.
I am so excited to see the response our community has shown. We are honored to be able to bring a safe and healthy ENTERTAINMENT outlet to the LC Valley and surrounding areas. We are doing this for YOU!
